Just when you thought you couldn’t get away from Yeeze, turns out the dude will be appearing in the highly anticipated Anchorman sequel. Anchorman: The Legend Continues will be out later this year and though there are no hints yet as to what Ye will be up to we hope it’s quick and followed by something funny.
E! have suggested that he will be part of a fight scene, which brings back so many fond memories of the all-in brawl of rival news crews from the first outing. Thankfully, the complete original cast of Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd, Steve Carrell and friends will be returning to carry the rest of the film, now also joined by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler who can obviously do no wrong.
West’s gigantic face will, of course, steal the limelight in whatever scene he’s appearing in. Admit it, you can’t look away. He certainly managed to pull his weight in some of his previous acting gigs, a la his appearance alongside Bruce Willis and Danny Trejo in Kobe Bryant’s Robert Rodriguez-directed Black Mamba shoe commercial below – which is as awesome as it sounds.
Kanye recently performed a whole stack of new songs at the Met Gala, though strangely no video footage has hit the interwebs as of yet. We’re expecting K. Widdles to drop his new single I Am A God when he plays the Saturday Night Live season closer on 18th May.
