The creative duo that is Tom Iansek and Jo Syme, perhaps better known as Big Scary, have announced a run of national tour dates, comprised of headlining shows and a cheeky festival performance, as they usher their brand-new album Not Art into the world.
It was the group’s 2011 debut full-length album Vacation that pricked up the ears of the industry and of fans, and Not Art is released to the band’s biggest fan base yet. It’s no surprise then why they plan on heading out to all different corners of the country in an effort to bring their new wares to the people, post haste.
For this run of shows, Big Scary will be doing something totally unprecedented for their live show. The pair will be joined on stage by two other musicians who will add not just the volume, but the texture needed to bring Not Art to life. Big Scary will also be hitting up Brisbane Festival for a late performance at The Spiegeltent.
