UPDATE: The Splendour In The Grass mystery band has FINALLY been revealed!
The Splendour In The Grass mystery band plot thickened ever further recently when current front-runners for the gig, Alt-J (∆), made a twitter post that has all but confirmed their appearance in Byron Bay.
Alt-J (∆)’s twitter post reads, “Anyone know what the weather is going to be like at Splendour this weekend?” Together with their subtle but suggestive smiley face during a Reddit AMA the English alt rockers sure do know how to keep a rumour mill alive.
The Splendour In The Grass mystery band slot was revealed when the 2013 lineup dropped in back in April and immediately had us all chasing Δ symbols. The mystery band will be appearing on stage on the Sunday of the festival and will perform between The Rubens and Passion Pit.
Anyone know what the weather is going to be like at Splendour this weekend?
