Primate supergroup The Ape will be joining us at Music Feeds Studio for a raw and grizzled interview and performance streamed live and direct to you from this very webpage on Thursday, 8th August.
The Ape is fronted by the fearless Tex Perkins with riff legend Raul Sanchez (Magic Dirt, River Of Snakes, Midnight Woolf) on guitar; Gus Agars (The Vandas, The Gin Club, Chromenips, Mike Noga and the Gentlemen of Fortune, The Dark Horses) on drums and Pat Bourke (Ladyboyz, Mike Noga and the Gentlemen of Fortune) on bass and piano.
With a lineup like that it is no wonder The Ape’s first single Crawl Back is 2 parts funky, 2 parts excellent and available to listen in full below.
