American pop/folk rocker Jack Johnson has confirmed extra shows for both the Sydney and Melbourne legs of his forthcoming Australian tour in support of new album From Here To Now To You, with a third and final show in Sydney and a second and final show in Melbourne.
The recent demand for tickets isn’t surprising, with Johnson selling over 19 million albums worldwide, and hitting up iconic venues including the Opera House as well as Perth’s Kings Park and Brisbane’s QPAC Concert Hall.
Fans have continued to support Johnson’s charitable backbone by supporting his music. In 2008 the singer decided to donate 100% of the profits derived from his tours to various charities, and this 2013 tour will be no different. Johnson also utilises a plethora of green initiatives on the road, as well as at concert venues, including recycling, composting and collection of food donations.
Johnson will be supported on tour by Hawaiian singers Paula Fuga and John Cruz. Tickets for the two new shows go on sale at 9am Friday, 4th October via Live Nation. My Live Nation members can access first during the exclusive pre-sale beginning at midday Monday, 30th September. Full tour details below.
