Sinners Society presents bands from all walks of rock ‘n’ roll with a heavy lean towards punk. The first Sinners Society will be at the Lansdowne Hotel on Friday, 20th April, 2012 from 8pm.
After a break from the live scene to concentrate on their upcoming album, Sydney’s The Corps are back! The Corps will be headlining the night and bringing a whole lot of brand new material with them! Psychobilly punk rockers The Switchblades have laid low since their East Coast tour in early 2012 and will be unleashing their new drummer on the night. Progressive experimental punks Thomas Covenant are joining us from Wollongong, along with Sid Air (as part of their East Coast tour) and Vanadium kicking the night off. These five bands will be playing short, sharp sets throughout the night.
Sinners Society is a new night powered by a group of musicians and music lovers. Promoters Jen Barratt and Marna Eringa see the night as the perfect platform to give a cross-section of bands the opportunity to play and introduce their music to new and existing fans. Sinners Society uses the support and services of Sydney professionals. The original artwork featured on all promo material is by Inner West artist Nick Sansonetti. Rollergirl Promotions along with Inner West Roller Derby League are on board to promote the night.
Friday 20th April at The Lansdowne Hotel. Corner City Rd and Broadway, Sydney.
