They’re already locked in for Laneway Festival 2014 and now English duo Drenge have confirmed sideshows for their maiden voyage Down Under. Brothers Eoin and Rory Loveless today announced they’ll be bringing their low-fi rock ‘n’ roll to a pair of headlining dates in Sydney and Melbourne.
Already winning famous fans like fellow Northerners Arctic Monkeys, Drenge made waves this year, with their self-titled debut studio album. The LP was recorded during elder brother Eoin’s gap year, in which he was clearly in a very sunny mood, with tracks like People In Love Make Me Feel Yuck and I Wanna Break You In Half.
You can catch the siblings in all their raw, gritty glory in Sydney on Tuesday, 4th February or in Melbourne on Wednesday, 5th February, with both shows seeing support from Brisbane indie duo The Creases.
Frontier members will be treated to a presale over at the Frontier website from 12:00pm AEST on Tuesday, 29th October to 12:00pm AEST on Wednesday, 30th October. General public sales will kick off from 9:00am AEST on Friday, 1st November.
