Harlequin League may not change the world but they will rock your socks off with ‘Won’t Change The World,’ the exciting first single from the band’s forthcoming debut album!
Despite being hard at work writing their debut album Harlequin League will pry themselves away from their laboratory of hit tunes long enough to launch ‘Won’t Change The World’ in:
SYDNEY on Wednesday 4th November at the Beachroad Hotel in Bondi with Wolf & Cub and Thursday 5th November at Kit & Kaboodle’s “The Filth” held at the Sugarmill Hotel in Kings Cross on with The Protectors; MELBOURNE at the Curtin Bandroom on Friday 6th November with Wilfred Jackal, Dozers and Traps (NSW); and last but not least BRISBANE on Saturday 7th November at The Clubhouse in Fortitude Valley. Harlequin League are also playing two shows as part of Perth’s One Movement Festival alongside Frankmusik (UK), Hilltop Hoods, Sarah Blasko, Miami Horror, Art Vs Science and many more.
Effortlessly combining elements of dirty rock, gritty post punk and eclectic pop, ‘Won’t Change The World’ is something to tide us over the summer, while the band finish up their first full-length effort. Going by their two EPs We Used To Be Gods, Now We’re So Plain (2008) and ‘I Don’t Do Friends’ (2009) – releases that earned Harlequin League a triple j Next Crop and Unearthed J Award nomination as well as numerous support and festival invites – Australia is in for a musical treat! Catch Harlequin League when they launch ‘Won’t Change The World’ on the East Coast!
