Melbourne drone duo Black Cab have returned, with a brand new, critically-acclaimed EP in tow. Entitled Go Slow, the new EP is the follow-up to the pair’s soaring, elegiac 2009 album Call Signs, having previously released two singles, and now the band are taking it on the road for a new tour.
The band are ready to come back full-force after going on hiatus in 2009, which saw only a handful of singles and remixes released by bandmates James Lee and Andrew Coates, who cover the band’s dense, swirling guitars and Jim Reid-like vocals, respectively, over the past four years.
The Go Slow EP features contributions from UK producer and ex-Death In Vegas member Timothy Holmes and the band will definitely be giving it a flogging when they kick off their November tour dates at The Espy Gershwin Room in Melbourne on Saturday, 16th November.
