Sleep Parade Announce ‘Inside/Out’ Album Launch

Hot on the heels of a national tour supporting Dead Letter Circus and The Butterfly Effect, Melbourne rock act Sleep Parade have announced their official album launch at the Corner Hotel in Melbourne on Friday, 14th December, previewing tracks from sophomore effort Inside/Out.

It’s been a long time between records for the band, who released their debut, Things Can Always Change, back in 2008 to much critical acclaim. They’ve gone through a couple of lineup changes in the interim, played a bunch of gigs and worked with ARIA-nominated producer Forrester Savell.

The result has been a whole new Sleep Parade sound. “As you get older and change, so do your musical tastes. So for us, paramount to the new album, was there be a heavy emphasis on vocals, melodies and harmonies,” said drummer Dan Teng on the group’s Facebook page.

Also on the bill for The Corner is Melbourne prog-rock act Glass Empire, who will be launching their brand new, debut EP Cognitive Dissonance. Plus special guests Holliava and High Side Driver. Leading up to the event, Sleep Parade will also play album launch dates up the East Coast.
