Black Night Crash, Melbourne’s longest running indie night, have just launched their own record label, and their first signing is none other than Japanese 4-piece Bo Ningen – and Music Feeds have got the exclusive first listen to their new record, Line The Wall.
Like the lovechild of Gang Of Four and Yeah Yeah Yeahs on acid, Bo Ningen attack noise rock, post punk and wizard rock and team it up with a whole lot of attitude. One half of Black Night Crash, Jonny O’Hara, says the now London-based quartet are ones to watch:
“I saw Bo Ningen at Fuji Rock and they completely blew me away. These guys are absolutely wild and I can’t wait to catch them again when they hit Australia in January as part of the upcoming Big Day Out tour.”
Line The Wall will be released on Friday, 17th January, with the Australian tour edition including the band’s full debut self-titled record, as well as bonus track Nichijyou, featuring Savages‘ singer Jehnny Beth. Catch Bo Ningen touring Australia as part of Big Day Out 2014, kicking off on the Gold Coast this Sunday, 19th January.
