A giant six-metre statue of Sacha Baron Cohen’s Borat has been airlifted into Bondi Beach, marking the release of the filmmaker’s new Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.
The sculpture was unveiled yesterday as part of a press conference that also included a remote appearance by Cohen in character as the Kazakhstan journalist and a parade of scantily-clad Borat doppelgängers wearing “face mask mankinis”, naturally.
