Good news, fans of Adult Swim – the US cable network has today announced the launch of an online streaming network in Australia, bringing us programs like Robot Chicken, Harvey Birdman, The Venture Bros, Aqua Team Hunger Force and, of course, Metalocalypse.
The service, which will be run by Turner Broadcasting Asia Pacific, MCM Media and Movideo, will also produce local content, including a specially commissioned series from Aussie comedy duo and YouTube stars Superwog. It can all be accessed by heading to the Australian Adult Swim site, as well as through options for phones and tablets that use iOS, Android or Windows 8.
And as if that wasn’t enough rad Adult Swim news for your day, the original score from Metalocalypse: The Doomstar Requiem: A Klok Opera is now streaming in full online, following the show’s airing in the States over the weekend. The full-blown score from a 50-piece orchestra is available now over at Yahoo Music, produced by Metalocalypse creator Brendon Small and Emmy-winning composer Bear McCreary.
