‘Arrested Development’ Season 4 Gets Premiere Release Date

Cue your “blue myself” jokes. Producer Mitch Hurwitz has decreed that 15 – yes, FIFTEEN – new episodes of Arrested Development will be available exclusively on Netflix from Sunday, 26th May at 12:01 AM Pacific time (to be precise).

Now we, like GOB, know what an erection feels like, Michael.

As reported by Wired, the launch of Arrested Development season 4 will mark the first time an established television series has released a season exclusively on Netflix and, like all Netflix-produced series, the entire season will be made available at once.

After being off the air for 7 years, the return of Arrested Development in one lump sum via the US-based streaming service may better serve the show’s audience, as the constant call-backs and in-jokes usually work best when all episodes are available – think your 9-hour Sunday hangover TV binges. This could very well close the gap between Arrested Development’s critical acclaim and poor commercial success.

And if you just shouted “OH, COME ON!” because we don’t get Netflix Down Under, don’t fret – we here at Feeds happen to know that the show won’t just be for British (or American) eyes only because there are a few things that will help you find the money in the banana stand.

A new poster advertising the series return has been released (below) but 1 question still remains – what could be in that shipping container? Beads? BEES?! HER?!
