Speculation had been growing the last few weeks that FOX’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine would be cancelled, and your sadness has been noted: the comedy has indeed been cancelled.
Despite the show garnering massive critical acclaim – including all five seasons earning 88% or above on Rotten Tomatoes – FOX announced today that it, alongside ‘The Last Man on Earth’ and ‘The Mick’, will be getting the can.
The show is often revered for its diverse representation, with particular note to race and sexuality, and fans, including some musos, are taking the cancellation to heart.
