Netflix have shared the trailer for a new children’s musical comedy special starring funnyman John Mulaney (If you’re not already across Mulaney, I’ll need you to stop what you’re doing and immediately watch his two Netflix specials, 2005’s The Comeback Kid and last year’s Kid Gorgeous at Radio City.)
John Mulaney & the Sack Lunch Bunch is billed as “a children’s musical comedy special from a man with neither children nor musical ability”, the new show sees Mulaney and a corral of young people tackle “existential topics for all ages” through the medium of “catchy songs, comedy sketches and special guests”, according to the Netflix synopsis.
The trailer looks very endearing, and features special guests like David Byrne, Jake Gyllenhaal, André De Shields, Natasha Lyonne and more in addition to Mulaney.
John Mulaney & the Sack Lunch Bunch comes to Netflix on Tuesday, 24th December.
