A new event out of the College Of Fine Arts is set to unleash Oxford Art Factory with a full frontal creative mash-up of art, design, live music, DJs, cakes, face-painting … and everything else you’ve ever dreamed of.
MASHED is free until 5pm, with an art exhibition, design markets, cake stall and cafe. Though we’re not usually ones to promote consumerism and zombie shopping, stacks of current and past COFA students will be flogging their beautiful handmade wares, and this is a great opportunity to support local and emerging artists, designers and makers of all things. DJs and bands will then take over MASHED until the early hours.
MASHED also features the Derivan sponsored ‘Brush off’ with heats at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and finals at 4pm. Artists will collaborate with the bands to create incredible live works and compete for Derivan prizes.
All money raised from the event will be donated to COFA student organisation (ARC) to help them fit out their future digs on the new COFA campus.
