Will Ferrell has posted a video showing his support for President Obama. In the clip, Ferrell, who claims to be the founder of Facebook, urges American citizens to get out and vote on Election Day. In return for their vote, Ferrell offers a variety of services, including a home cooked meal, helping people to move their couch, and giving voters a tattoo.
The clip concludes with Farrell catching a football while delivering a slogan of “Vote Obama, it’s a slam dunk”. Ferrell appears in the clip with a moustache reminiscent of his beloved character Ron Burgundy. It was back in March when the exciting news broke that Anchorman 2 would indeed be a reality. According to IMDB the sequel is expected out next year, while a couple of teaser trailers came out in May.
As for Ferrell’s policial message, it’s almost crunch time in the United States’ Presidential Elections and in the closing days Obama has directly and indirectly been given support from the likes of Motörhead’s Lemmy, Jay-Z and Bruce Springsteen – who performed a free gig in Columbus only hours ago – and of course the magnificent Will Ferrell.
