The New Pollution: # 026 – Little Comets

If you’re in a bad mood for any given reason, listening to Little Comets will either;

a.) pick you up out of your slump and get you toe-tapping your way to dance happy success  OR;

b.) make you angrier that you’re not having the same good times these Newcastle (Norven Inglend) lads are having.

Let’s assume you’re already in a good mood… Little Comets released their debut album, In Search Of Elusive Little Comets, back in 2009. Shortly thereafter, Columbia Records terminated their recording contract. Little Comets came out with catchy new single Worry at the end of 2011 and it’s the same indie-pop-rock that is sure to have you dancing predominantly from the shoulders up.

People who like Franz Ferdinand,Vampire Weekend, Foals or Good Shoes should find something they like about Little Comets. Lead singer Robert Coles sounds (and even looks) a bit like Caleb from Kings of Leon… if you’re still into that sort of thing.
