Boo Seeka’s first single of the new year is titled ‘Finish What You Started’. It follows last year’s ‘Dream’ and it’s premiering on Music Feeds ahead of its official release on Thursday, 17th February.
Boo Seeka’s Ben “Boo” Gumbleton describes ‘Finish What You Started’ as a call to keep going. “We are all uncertain and sometimes scared in these crazy times, and we don’t know what the future holds,” he said in a statement.
“However, we all should keep chasing all the things that make us happy and define who we are. Always finish what you start no matter how long it takes – always follow your dreams.”
Boo Seeka’s anticipated second album is due for release later in 2022. ‘Finish What You Started’, ‘Dream’ and the acoustic tinged ‘Tripwire’ are all expected to appear on the record.
Boo Seeka are part of the upcoming For the Love tour alongside Crooked Colours, Mallrat, Allday and more. For the Love hits the Gold Coast’s Doug Jennings Park on Saturday, 19th February and Melbourne’s Catani Gardens on Saturday, 5th March. Dates are to be confirmed for shows in Wollongong and Perth.
“There’s been so many setbacks and walls to climb over to even make these festivals happen,” said Boo. “I really hope that the powers that be start to recognise the damage that they are doing to this industry. However, everyone that is involved from the punters, artists, organisers, owners, and everyone else involved … we will be back and it is going to be a big old party.”
