Resist The Thought are playing SFX’s 1st birthday party this Saturday night. With a new record in the works, 2011 looks set to be a massive year for the guys. I quickly caught up with the band to find out the low down on Resist The Thought and what they are bringing to the birthday party.
Music Feeds: What’s been happening lately for Resist The Thought?
Resist The Thought: We have just completed our first Australian tour for 2011 with out good pals Buried In Verona. It was a really solid tour and we recieved an awesome response from fans.
MF: Describe the band’s sound for the readers?
RTT: Fast, brutal metal.
MF: What are the plans for the band in 2011?
RTT: We are just now starting to write for a new record, which will be released before the end of the year. We have also been in talks with overseas promoters about international touring.
MF: You’re playing SFX’s first birthday show, what present will you bring to the party?
RTT: Brutality
MF: What’s the worst birthday present you’ve ever received?
RTT: No idea.

RTT: One ranga, one ferret, one Irishman, one malteaser and one pinnocio getting angry.
