Having been bunkered down in a recording studio for sahhh damn long, painstakingly piecing together their debut album slated for release early next year, it’s understandable that The Cairos wanted to shake off the cobwebs to rehearse for their upcoming tour.
The whimsical yet aptly titled Obsession (Shed Session) documents some of the time the band spent in the Sunshine Coast countryside before they headed off to Vietnam to commence the tour. With beautiful views, horse rides and dips in waterholes at their disposal, it’s amazing they found the time to get some rehearsal in.
Centred around their current single Obsession, the clip isn’t strictly a music video – that title went to the official clip for the single released not too long ago. Rather, it serves as something of a cheeky bump to tide us over until we can get our hands on more.
The raw nature of the clip should also get fans in the mood for the band’s run of headlining Australia shows, which kicked off last night in Brisbane, as well as their forthcoming summer festival commitments. The chances of catching some horse-riding antics at these shows, however, are likely very slim.
Check out the video and tour dates below. The tour continues tonight with an appearance at FBi Social in Sydney!
