30 Seconds To Mars frontman Jared Leto has revealed that the band are “absolutely” going to tour Australia in 2018.
Speaking with Fitzy & Wippa on Nova 969 today, Leto was asked if the group would tour Australia next year, to which he replied, “I would say absolutely, **** yes!
“It’s been too long since we’ve been down under. We need to get back there and see you guys — we miss you,” he said.
“Yeah, we can’t wait I mean, what an incredible country. And it’s always fun to go to a place that’s completely different and totally exotic to us, but we all speak the same language.
“That’s kind of like this really cool thing, because we go all over the world into different places, but to go so far and then to just feel like you’re at home is amazing.”
Leto’s announcement comes on the same day that 30 Seconds To Mars released their first new song in four years, titled ‘Walk On Water’. The song is set to appear on their forthcoming fifth studio album, which is yet to receive a title or release date.
30 Seconds To Mars last toured Australia in 2014, when they performed in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. The band released their latest album Love, Lust, Faith And Dreams back in 2013.
