30 Seconds To Mars Switch Melbourne Venue To Satisfy Rolling Stones

Who says no to Sir Mick Jagger? Not Jared Leto and his band Thirty Seconds To Mars, that’s for sure, with the alt rock trio moving their Melbourne gig out of Rod Laver Arena next March to make way for The Rolling Stones.

Promoter Michael Gudinski explained that there was only one date available for Mick, Keef and the boys in Melbourne, 28th March, and it simply had to be at Rod Laver. “We were honestly at a loss as to what to do. No-one wants to say no to the Stones! Thirty Seconds to Mars were more than happy to help us out of our dilemma and we’re hugely grateful for their assistance.”

COULD JARED LETO JOIN THE STONES ON STAGE DURING THEIR AUSTRALIAN TOUR?

Leto and company kindly moved their gig next door to Hisense Arena, with all tickets for the original show to be reallocated to similar locations at the new venue. Ticketek have announced that general admission ticket holders don’t need to do anything, but punters with reserved seating will receive a confirmation of their new seats by Tuesday, 17th December.

Thirty Seconds To Mars are touring off the back of their latest record, Love Lust Faith + Dreams, with all remaining tickets for the Melbourne show on sale from 9:00am AEDT on Friday, 6th December through Ticketek.
