As the winter gets even colder, LAST NIGHT is always there to serve up a warm mug of the best of Australian indie music – with extra marshmallows of course – to defrost those jazz hands. The only way to keep from freezing your front-bum off this Friday is by dropping it like it’s hot on the Last Night dance floor.
Bringing some of the Byron Bay sunshine with them, we are pleased to present the Sydney leg of GLASS TOWERS’ ‘Lino The Lion’ EP tour. Their jangly, summer-inspired tunes are sure to put the colour back in your cheeks – having graced stages alongside Metronomy (UK), Tame Impala, The Holidays and Cloud Control.
Central Coast rock outfit WE ARE GRACE are here to stoke the fire and hand out the snuggies with their Last Night debut. We’re keen to put our moshing-for-warmth hypotheses to the test and the music these boys provide is certainly a more than viable test subject.
Opening proceedings, we have the talented kids from RECKLESS VAGINA to rid us of our goose bump woes. With a name like theirs, you’ll already be feeling a little hot under the collar, but on hearing the beautiful 60s inspired sounds coming from this provocative outfit, you’ll swear that Spring has sprung.
To keep us sweaty well into the cold, dark night, we’ve flown in NICE AND EGO for a 4 Deck AV Set. Alongside the Melbourne two piece, we’ve got winter warmers PhDJ, RANDALL STAGG, M.I.T, ACCOLYTE (MELB) and MIKE WHO (FBi). And making sure your upstairs is as warm as your downstairs (insert winky face) we’ve got SNOOPY’S SLOT BOX PRESENTS: PARTY PARTY in the Glass Room.
