50 Cent Is Quitting Twitter

50 Cent is threatening to abandon his Twitter account because he’s getting “attacked” via his tweets.

Fiddy has been known as a prominent tweeter – regularly replying to fans and posting controversial messages. A prime example of that came last month when he tweeted a four-part guide encouraging fans to stop masturbating.

However, News.com.au reports that the 37-year-old is sick of getting “attacked all day” on the social networking site, and as a result, is going to leave Twitter soon.

“I get attacked all day on here,” the star wrote following a message from a fan asking him why he was so “rude” on Twitter.

“I’m leaving twitter soon you guys are going to have to find another way to get followers (sic),” he posted shortly after.

50 has since posted to say he’ll only read and re-tweet messages that endorse his headphone brand SMS Audio or his latest album Street King.

The rapper was recently engaged in a Twitter war with fellow rapper French Montana after Montana questioned – in an interview with Complex.com. – whether 50 could still be the rap star he once was.

“I herd there was a @frenchmontana listening party at Interscope so I’m here (sic),” 50 sarcastically tweeted in response.
