The Aussie invasion headed to Austin’s blockbuster annual SXSW festival next year has just been embiggened by seven more stellar local acts.
Sydney’s vocal powerhouse Odette, swoon-poppers I Know Leopard and producer Haiku Hands will all be jumping on a plane to Texas in March of 2019, together with Newcastle band Vacations, Brisbane “romantic pop” artist Emerson Snowe and Perth’s Denise le Menice.
They join previously announced homegrown reppers Amyl & The Sniffers, Bloods, The Gooch Palms, NOIRE, Skegss, Tia Gostelow, WAAX and more.
25 Aussies in total have now been announced on next year’s SXSW lineup and you can check out the full list of showcasing acts via the SXSW website.
