Soundwave a little too much of the rough and tumble for ya? Then maybe A Day On The Green is more your speed and cup of tea. Presented by Triple M, A Day On The Green 2012 will see some of the most beloved rock acts of yesteryear, including Hoodoo Gurus, The Angles and Baby Animals.
A fully licensed day outdoors, A Day On The Green is a family orientated music festival with some classic bands playing some classic hits. Last year’s instalment of the self-described ‘Classic Oz Rock’ tour sold out swiftly, so if kicking up your heels and drinking in moderation appeals to you, be sure to be vigilant on August 17 when tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster.
At the price of $89.90 per ticket, it’s probably the most inexpensive outdoor music event on the festival calendar and promises to be a day of laid-back entertainment and easy listening with probably decent food and overly priced beverages – the way a festival should be.
