Get ready to relive the Recovery experience; a one-hour special entitled Recovery: The Music and the Mayhem will air on ABC in November for Ausmusic Month.
Hosted by Recovery legend Dylan Lewis, the doco will shine a light on the iconic show, exploring performance and interview highlights from its four-year run between 1996 to 2000.
Joining Lewis for the ride will be Recovery co-hosts including Jane Gazzo, Leigh Whannell and The Enforcer and – excitingly – a ton of Aussie artists who appeared on the show, sharing insights on their performances and the beloved show.
Bernard Fanning, Tim Rogers, Killing Heidi, members of Silverchair, Spiderbait, Regurgitator, Something for Kate, Magic Dirt, Jebediah, The Living End and The Superjesus are all amongst the artists who will be reliving their time on the iconic program.
“Working on Recovery back in the day was rad. It was crazy, loose and so fun,” says Lewis.
“Putting together this rockumentary has been nostalgic bliss for me and I can’t wait for old fans and new ones to experience it.”
Recovery: The Music and the Mayhem will air on ABC on Wednesday, 27th November at 9pm.
Following the broadcast, there’ll be a ton of additional Recovery content appearing on iview and YouTube, including full performances and extended interviews.
