A$AP Rocky has been released from Swedish jail while he awaits his verdict for the assault trial.
Rocky has spent the past month detained in Sweden, following being arrested for alleged assault. Footage emerged of Rocky and two others engaging in a street fight in Stockholm, after allegedly being approached by two men who say that he broke their headphones.
Now, Rocky and his two friends have all been released. A$AP Ferg had also previously said that Rocky was being kept in inhumane conditions as well as in solitary confinement.
A whole array of artists pleaded for Rocky’s freedom, including Post Malone, FKA twigs, Tyler the Creator, Rico Nasty and Kanye West. On top of that, US President Donald Trump has also been very vocal pushing for Rocky’s release. He has since celebrated Rocky’s release with the following, cursed tweet.
A$AP Rocky released from prison and on his way home to the United States from Sweden. It was a Rocky Week, get home ASAP A$AP!

This man did not just use a pun for…never mind.
Rocky has also taken to social media to thank fans for supporting him throughout this ordeal.
“THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART TO ALL OF MY FANS, FRIENDS AND ANYONE ACROSS THE GLOBE WHO SUPPORTED ME DURING THESE LAST FEW WEEKS,” Rocky wrote on Instagram.
“I CAN’T BEGIN TO DESCRIBE HOW GRATEFUL I AM FOR ALL OF YOU THIS HAS BEEN A VERY DIFFICULT AND HUMBLING EXPERIENCE.”
Rocky plead not guilty to the charge of assault, and awaits the verdict and subsequent sentencing which is expected Wednesday, 14th August.
