Western Oz songstress Abbe May is now in full motion. This week saw the release of her brand-new record Kiss My Apocalypse opening the flood gates to high praise for the album and its creator. To celebrate the good news, and the great press, May has released the video clip for the third single from the album, Sex Tourette’s.
The clip featuring Ms May is, as you might expect, oozing with a sex appeal. Minimal enough to spark your imagination and dark enough to bring us into the realm of the whole LP. Kiss My Apocalypse is a big departure from 2011’s Design Desire. The guitar driven tracks have been replaced by melodies that float effortlessly atop a thick layer of synth driven doom pop.
Recognised as one of Australia’s most remarkable female artists, May will be backing up the release with a run of live performances. For the majority of June, the songbird will be stopping by just about everywhere worthwhile. Dates below the clip.
Kiss My Apocalypse is out now.
