AC/DC Fans Who Don’t Want To See Axl Rose Front The Band Have Been Offered A Refund

A British ticketing service in the UK is offering refunds to AC/DC fans who don’t want to see the band perform with Axl Rose as frontman.

Rose was confirmed as the replacement for singer Brian Johnson earlier this month, after Johnson was told to step down due to hearing issues.

The announcement irked many fans and celebrities alike. AC/DC biographer Jesse Fink called Axl Rose’s hiring “the worst decision AC/DC has ever made. Fans are pretty disgusted… AC/DC is all about the money now.”

See Tickets emailed ticket buyers for AC/DC’s London Olympic Stadium show today with the message, “You have the opportunity to request a refund of your ticket.”

For his part though, a fresh from Coachella Rose is scooting on into his role as AC/DC frontman, quite literally, having been interviewed and filmed while riding a motorised scooter around LAX.

Rose will play with AC/DC throughout their May and June European tour. He will then perform with Guns N’ Roses on their ‘summer reunion’ tour.

AC/DC guitarist Angus Young recently played with Guns N’ Roses at Coachella, where Axl belted out his best Brian Johnson impression… It’s not that bad.

See some of that performance below.
