AFI Announce 2025 Australian Headlining Shows

AFI will perform their first headlining shows in Australia since 2017 next March, heading to Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Sunday the 2nd and Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Thursday the 6th. The two headlining dates will take place while the band are in the country supporting Green Day on their Saviors stadium tour.

Since the band were last in Australia, the Californian goth-punk act have released their 11th studio album: Bodies, released in June 2021. Last year, the band also celebrated the 20th anniversary of their breakthrough sixth album Sing The Sorrow; in addition to re-releasing the record on vinyl, the band performed it in full at a one-off show at the KIA Forum in Los Angeles that March.

The band also recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of their 1999 EP All Hallow’s, reissuing it on a pink 10-inch vinyl that sold out almost instantly upon going on sale. Prior to joining Green Day in Australia, AFI are also set to tour Mexico as the opening act for Linkin Park.

A pre-sale for the two freshly-announced headlining shows will go on sale from 1pm AEDT on Friday, December 13th. General sale will then follow on Monday, December 16th – again at 1pm AEDT. Both can be accessed via the shows’ official promoter, Live Nation Australia.
