Australian garage punk legends Royal Headache have announced that they have broken up, following months of inactivity, rumours and speculation.
In a succinct and kind 0f mysterious post on the band’s official Facebook page, the band simply wrote ‘2008 – 2017’ indicating the band’s active years, and also indicating that they must have broken up at least six months ago.
After almost a decade together, the band played what would be their last ever show at LA’s FYF Fest back in July last year. Their last show in Australia was a local headlining gig at The Factory Theatre in Sydney at the end of June last year.
The band delivered two excellent albums, the most recent of which was 2015’s widely critically acclaimed High.
