Hold onto your butts. A new Aussie rock festival has just exploded onto the scene with a legend-stacked lineup that we didn’t see coming.
King of shock-rock Alice Cooper, rock icon Blondie, metal greats Deep Purple and alt-rockers Placebo are all coming down under this April, topping the lineup for the inaugural Pandemonium Festival.
Alice Cooper – ‘Feed My Frankenstein’
The brainchild of Apex Entertainment, Pandemonium well be bringing exactly what it says on the tin to four outdoor venues around Australia in just a few months’ time, hitting Melbourne’s Caribbean Gardens, Sydney’s The Domain, the Gold Coast’s Doug Jennings Park and Bribie Island’s Sandstone Point Hotel (where sadly, Blondie will not be appearing).
The rock extravaganza’s debut roster is rounded out by ‘Teenage Dirtbag’ hitmakers Wheatus, plus The Psychedelic Furs, Dead Kennedys, Gang Of Four, Palaye Royale, plus Aussie icons Wolfmother, Cosmic Psychos and Gyroscope and Thai solo artist Petch.
“A dozen bands across two giant stages will be busting out countless hits that have become the soundtrack to our lives over the last half a century,” promoters promised fans in a press statement
