South African singer-songwriter Alice Phoebe Lou has announced her return to Australia for her Shelter Tour this May. The tour is in support of her new album ‘Shelter’
The tour will kick off on May 29 at Melbourne’s The Croxton, followed by shows at Sydney’s Factory Theatre on Thursday, 30th May, and conclude at Brisbane’s The Zoo on Friday, 31st May.

Alice Phoebe Lou’s latest album ‘Shelter’ delves into themes of “forgiving the world and forgiving yourself”.The album is on self-forgiveness and finding solace, reflecting her journey from teenage busker to confident artist unafraid of judgment. The album has both a sense of emotional release and signifies a fresh phase of her new chapter.
“I continually strive to show people the beauty of being vulnerable and feeling all their feelings,” she explains. Alice Phoebe Lou hopes young people “can be inspired by the fact “you can do things unconventionally”, with ‘Shelter’ which is a defiant soundtrack in choosing your happiness.
Tickets for the tour are now available to buy, fans are advised to buy them before the shows go sold out.
