All Time Low frontman Alex Gaskarth was recently in the country to perform at Good Things Festival with his Simple Creatures project – a collaboration between him and Blink 182‘s Mark Hoppus.
While here, Gaskarth revealed that the pop-punk outfit – last in the country as part of 2018’s Good Things lineup – are gearing up for a big year of touring in 2020, including (hopefully) a return to Australian shores.
Talking to Emmy Mack as part of Triple M’s Hard and Heavy, both Gaskarth and Hoppus were asked what their Australian tour plans looked like on the horizon.
“We don’t have concrete plans yet, but we are firing the touring machine back up next year,” explained Gaskarth.
“We took a lot of time off this year. So, I would hope some time next year.”
Hoppus was a little less optimistic about Blink-182’s return, acknowledging drummer Travis Barker’s long-standing fear of flying.
“We looked into it. It takes a month to get here on a boat. So, I doubt that’s going to happen any time soon. But hopefully we can get over here sometime in the future.”
