The super anticipated return of UK lads Alt-J has just become even more super. While in town for the Laneway Festival, the band will be performing a very special, one-off intimate show at Sydney’s Metro Theatre.
With their groundbreaking album An Awesome Wave in hand, the band left a massive imprint on their fans Down Under towards the end of last year, only to return a matter of months after, this time as a main feature on the St. Jerome’s Laneway festivities.
Their latest single Breezeblocks scored a respectable #3 on the Hottest 100, and it seems that we had the right idea about them – the band took out the highly coveted Mercury Music Award, one of the most prestigious and respected music awards left.
