American singer Lou Gramm, the lead vocalist of the band Foreigner has announced his retirement from the music industry at the age of 73. The singer has been working for nearly 50 years.
Gramm announced his retirement in an interview with radio host Lee Richey on Seven Mountains Media, expressing his heartfelt gratitude for the recognition he has received over the years as a singer-songwriter.

Lou Gramm announced his retirement during the interview saying, “I would like to turn my attention to my family and my muscle cars and just enjoy myself knowing that when I lay down at night, it’ll be in my own bed.” This is gonna be it.”
He continued, “I’ve been putting it off and putting it off. And I still enjoy performing, but when you’ve been doing it for as long as I have, the travel is the worst. It really takes its toll. And that’s a sign that you’re getting old.” This is how Gramm justified his retirement.
However, this is not the first retirement news that Gramm has made. In 2018 he previously announced to take a step back from music, saying that he had already performed his final.
