Straight out of the “HOLY SHIT” department comes this juicy little bit of news, with music site Project U reporting that the Amity Affliction, A Day To Remember, The Ghost Inside and Motionless In White are set to team up for an epic joint Australian tour at the end of the year.
The unverified scoop comes via a picture of an alleged poster for the so-titled Big Ass Tour shared to a Facebook group called ‘UNFD and related Merchswap‘ which has the four bands featured alongside dates and venues including QANTAS Credit Union Arena in Sydney on December 12th (conveniently one week before demolition begins btw) as well as arenas in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne & Brisbane.
Ever the digital sleuths the Project U team have also unearthed the following header picture from the depths of the internet (legally we hope) which has the same information:
Whilst the poster photo and sourced header image are fairly low quality, the tour dates and venues do seem to sync up with the alleged Big Ass Tour, and there seems to be some sort of announcement from the clothing label and ticketing group 24 Hundred on Wednesday, if this Facebook event is anything to by.
With no official word from the presenters however we are yet to verify how legit this is, so until more information comes to light, take it with a (fairly large) grain of salt.
UPDATE 01/12/15: The Ghost Inside have cancelled all their current tour dates, including Australia’s Big Ass Tour, and have released a statement saying they wish to focus on their recovery following the fatal bus crash in Texas.
