Amy Winehouse has been remembered by family and close friends at her funeral that has just taken place at Edgwarebury Cemetery in north London. Around 200 people attended the private funeral service including musicians Mark Ronson, Remi Nicole, Kelly Osbourne and Bryan Adams. Amy’s band mates Zalon and Heshima Thompson were also amongst the attendees.
Amy’s ex-husband, Blake Fielder-Civil who is serving a 32 month jail sentence was not granted compassionate leave to attend the singer’s funeral and Winehouse’s father made it clear he did not want him there.
Amy’s most recent boyfriend, Reg Travis Spoke at the funeral saying : “I can’t describe what I am going through and I want to thank so much all of the people who have paid their respects and who are mourning the loss of Amy, such a beautiful, brilliant person and my dear love, I have lost my darling who I loved very much.”
Mourning fans lined the streets outside the cemetery to farewell the singer for the last time.
