If there was going to be one band in Australia to make a bong replica of their 2019 Best Rock Album ARIA Award, it was definitely going to be Amyl & The Sniffers.
In a video posted to the Melbourne group’s Instagram, bassist Gus Romer can be seen giving us a play-by-play of just exactly how this shiny, very pointy contraption works.
“The only thing it doesn’t have… Is that this text is done with a Sharpie,” Romer said, referring to the only feature of the replica that’s stopping me from wholeheartedly believing that they really did turn their ARIA Award into a bong.
Aside from that one feature, it’s painstakingly accurate in its precision. Dunno how it would pull though.
