Hear Anderson .Paak Team Up With Kendrick Lamar On New Song ‘Tints’

After posting on Instagram last week with a sneaky teaser, Anderson .Paak has unveiled his latest collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, dubbed ‘Tints’.

The track has that classic .Paak funk, and is the lead single from his upcoming album Oxnard, which doesn’t yet have a release date. Stream the track in full, below.

Anderson .Paak and Kendrick Lamar have been good pals for some time — .Paak features in ‘Bloody Waters’ from the Kendrick-curated Black Panther soundtrack, and they both featured on ‘Deep Water’ from Dr. Dre’s Compton back in 2015.

.Paak revealed to Rolling Stone that Dr. Dre will be producing Oxnard.

He went on to say of his new material, “This is the album I dreamed of making in high school, when I was listening to [JAY-Z]’s The Blueprint, The Game’s The Documentary and [Kanye West’s] The College Dropout.”

The singer/songwriter/drummer premiered ‘Tints’ on Zane Lowe’s Apple Music Beats 1 show and said we can expect appearances from Pusha-T and J. Cole on Oxnard as well.

Anderson .Paak is set to headline Falls Festival this summer, and recently announced a string of sideshows.
