André 3000 has released a line of merch inspired by some of his iconic 2014 stagewear in an effort to support the Movement for Black Lives.
The merch line specifically takes slogans that match the slogans emblazoned upon jumpsuits Andre wore on stage during Outkast’s 2014 world tour – including their legendary headlining set at Splendour In The Grass.
Some of the slogans read ‘across cultures darker people suffer most. why?’, ‘passionate about compassion’, ‘i pray there’s a god at the end of all this’, ‘narcissistic americans’ and more.
André announced the release of the merch on Instagram, writing that the line will be available for three days with all proceeds going to Movement for Black Lives “to aid in their fight to end police brutality & racial injustice against Black people.”
“Something very important is happening all over the world and it is happening to all of us,” he wrote.
“How does it make you feel?”
