Andre 3000 has given us a Mother’s Day gift none of us could have predicted, with the surprise release of not one but two solo tracks.
He released the two tracks, titled ‘Look Ma No Hands’ and ‘Me&My (To Bury Your Parents)’, on Soundcloud to honour his parents, who have both passed away, NME reports.
Fair warning: they are absolutely nothing like the rapid fire raps we’re used to from Andre 3000 or Outkast for that matter. ‘Me&My’ shows off 3000’s incredibly underrated singing voice, while ‘Look Ma No Hands’ is a straight up jazz piece that stretches just over 17 minutes in length.
This is the first solo music we’ve heard from 3000 since his feature on N.E.R.D.’s 2017 album, No One Ever Really Dies.
