Australian folk and indie pop group Angus & Julia Stone has been announced as the lead mentors of the Wild Turkey Bourbon’s Music 101 Mentorship Program for 2024. The membership program is set to start in July, the entries are now open from 30 May to 14 June.
The mentorship program will act as a golden opportunity for the budding artists of Australia to learn music from some of the best people in the industry. At the same time, being a part of this enormous celebration of stories, conviction, music and community.
Angus & Julia Stone Shared Their Anticipation For Partnering With Wild Turkey Bourbon
Julia Stone shared her statement on partnering with Wild Turkey Bourbon. “As an artist you are always learning and evolving; trusting your own instincts is essential to shaping your career. Reflecting on our own experience, some of the mentors we have encountered along the way will stay with us always. Partnering with Wild Turkey Bourbon will enable us to help guide the next generation of Australian musicians.”
Angus Stone further added. “It takes courage to take that first step in your music career – and it takes even more conviction to keep pursuing it. Looking back on our journey so far, I’m lucky to have Julia by my side. We understand each other, allowing for creative freedom but also working collaboratively.”
The mentors of this program also include vocal producer Simon Cohen, who has gotten a lot of appreciation worldwide for his creations, Kiah Gossner, the producer that ones who want to have an edge in their music go to and Stefan du Randt who is an amazing producer and also a mixing and recording engineer.
The program will have a total of six tailored sessions which will take place during the two days of the mentorship program. This program will be held in Sydney, during the month of July 2024.
