Flowers aren’t the only things blooming across Australia this spring. Now that the country is opening back up, our live music calendar is exploding with events for 2022.
One such is The Long Sunset, a new boutique destination camping festival on Queensland’s Scenic Rim that’s just announced itself upon the world with one mother of a lineup.
Going down at Elysian Fields in the heart of Canungra — home of the Wangerriburra people — on Saturday 12th February 2022, The Long Sunset’s inaugural all-ages event will be headlined by noneother than Angus & Julia Stone, playing their first Queensland show since 2018.
“It’s been a really long time since Angus and I have had the chance to make our way up to
Queensland to perform together”, Julia Stone said.
“It’s a truly beautiful part of the world. We can’t wait to head north again and perform as the sun sets and the night comes alive. It’s going to be electric.”
Rounding out the bill are Brisbane indie-rockers Ball Park Music, Byron Bay psychedelic troupe Babe Rainbow and Brisbane dream-pop act Hatchie.
