The team behind Arcadia Spectacular, which will soon be closing in on Perth has announced a lineup of musical talent that will be sacrificed to the event’s ginormous robotic spider. Once sacrificed, said artists will appear on the stage on the belly of the beast for their performance.
Running over three days, the event will kick off with a opening party headlined by a DJ set from UK’s Leftfield with more to be announced. The first official day of the festival will see Alison Wonderland perform one of her internationally praised DJ sets, alongside Carmada and Elk Road. The third day will be the under 18’s event featuring the same line up.
More artists will be announced in the weeks leading up to the event. Both the opening party, 18+ and U18 events will feature the traditional Wadjuk Noongar dance Yallor Keeninyarra. The opening party will also contain Arcadia’s The Landing Show and Lords Of Lightning.
Arcadia Spectacular features a 20-metre-tall, 50-tonne, fire-breathing robotic spider-turned stage which is were the artist will be performing. The spider is joined by a gang of just as creepy robotic minions which will be on display.
