The Paramore fandom is abuzz after the band posted a cryptic teaser on their socials, hinting that new music could be on the horizon.
Hayley Williams & co have been off focusing on other projects since dropping their 2017 album After Laughter, but thanks to a new tweet from the pop-punk graduates, stans have deduced the breather is over.
It all started when US TV talk show host Jimmy Fallon did a bit about Taylor Swift‘s surprise new album evermore on The Tonight Show.
Taking a playful dig at T-Swizzle’s decision to drop yet another surprise this year, Fallon pretended to receive a bunch of notifications about Swift releasing even more records, and gave each one a name similar to evermore and folklore. Finally, he delivered a punchline about Paramore.
“Wait, Paramore just released an album called Taylor Swift,” Fallon joked. “It came full circle.”
Paramore then retweeted The Tonight Show clip, along with a cryptic message that seemingly confirms new music is on the way.
“jimmy, don’t wake the pmore stans just yet,” they said.
Naturally, fans were quick to hit ~Decode~. See for yourself:
