The 2011 ARIA Awards are taking place at Allphone Arena (Formerly Acer Arena) today and we will be keeping live updates on this page as the winners are announced. The red carpet arrivals will run from 3pm-4:30pm then the Awards Ceremony will kick off running from 4:30-8:30. The ceremony will be broadcast exclusively on digital station GO! from 7.30pm (delayed).
There will be live performances from Gotye with Kimbra, Gurrumul Yunupingu with Missy Higgins, The Living End, Guy Sabastian, Art Vs Science, Drapht, Boy & Bear and Cut Copy.
Presenters on the night include Delta Goodrem, Tom Ballard & Alex Dyson, Hamish & Andy, Joel & Benji Madden, Noah Taylor, Iva Davies, Katie Noonan, Adam Hills, James Mathiso, Ricki-Lee Coulter, Erin Mcnaught and Molly Meldrum.
Boy & Bear are the favorites to win ‘Album of The Year’ with Moonfire and are also hot favourites to win ‘Best Group’.
Pop princess, Kylie Minogue, will be inducted into the hall of fame along with kid’s favourite, The Wiggles.
